HARARE PRESBYTERY WOMEN’S GUILD – NOVEMBER 2009

Harare Presbytery Women’ Guild is comprised of Christian Women from 13 congregations that are: Harare, Mabvuku, Highfield, Tafara, Mufakose, Zengeza, Bindura, Karoi, Chinhoyi, Marondera, Mutare, Kuwadzana and Norton. Women in Greater Harare (in Harare) hold their monthly meetings at a Central Place                      

The sitting Committee for the CCAP Harare Presbytery Women‘s Guild started its work in September 2008.

These are the Current Office Bearers: -

The Aim of this Committee is to: -

(a)   To look after the interests of Women in the Presbytery

(b)  To audit financial books.

 Progress made to date:

A number of activities undertaken so far are:

1.      Met in October 2008 to organize our Programme.

2.      Meeting with all Harare Presbytery Women every month to pray, preach; give testimonies, sing and giving instructions to young ladies on Christian Living so that we can motivate other Women to come to God.

3.      Zitenje (material) project – written “Msonkhano wa Chigwirizano Wapachaka, National Level, CCAP Harare Synod, Harare Presbytery and Gweru Presbytery”.

The material was printed in August 2009. We started selling it in August. We took another share and gave it to 152 Kwame Nkrumah for the Synod Project of our Offices. We look forward to printing some more material so as to continue contributing towards the Synod Office Project.
