We Are A Living Church Serving God To His Glory

Mrs Sue Wright's Sugery Successful

Mrs. Sue Wright underwent a successful hip replacement operation in the United States of America and sent us an e-mail from hospital  thanks each one of us for prayers answered(see copy below). She says that her bones had seriously deteriorated and the Surgeons considered her lucky to have had the surgery at that point in time. We thank God for the process and continue to lift her and Rev Ted Wright in the new calling to a church in the United States of America where the have settled very well. The Five Synods of CCAP wish your wife a speedy recovery as she undergoes rehab. We must continue to remember the Wrights and all the sick in the world.

Dear family and friends,

A week ago I was in tremendous pain one day post-op.  Today, I am amazed at my progress!  When I was transferred to the Adventist Rehab Hospital last Friday, I could barely get up on a walker.  Yesterday in physical therapy, I walked 200 feet using a walker and climbed 12 steps!

Right now, the plan is that I will be released from here next Wednesday. Some church folks are working on the one challenge I will have at home--getting into the house.  There are some very high steps and I think they are working on a way to make a mini-step so I won't have to step so high.

There is still a long way to go but thanks to you prayers and encouragement, I am well on the road to recovery.  I am so grateful.

Faithfully,
Sue

We continue to lift our prayers for the people of Haiti. May God continue to bless all operations and avail of provisions to His glory. We pray for world peace and individual peace.

"Father it is not by might or by power but through the power of the Holy Spirit that we commit the above joy and concerns into your hands for your blessings and attention. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen
