Vavambi Choir has brought a new version of music to the CCAP Harare Synod found in most of our ecumenical brothers and sisters churches to whom we are all members of the Zimbabwe Council of Churches - ZCC. Their adaption of a church hymn "Kufuna Chipulumutso" (Seeking Salvation) is awesome. Such diversity in talent and passion to serve Christ by the young is upheld at Harare Congregation which has by far the largest number of youths filling up the church each Sunday to the Glory of God

Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise. For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth. Psalms 33:1-4 My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations. Psalms 57:7-9 Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious. Psalms 66:1-2 Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob. Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery. Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day. Psalms 81:1-3

"Taliwona Dzanja Lanu"  (We have seen The Hand Of God) is a song by Mbare Mothers that gives glory to the fullness of God's bountiful provisions. Often times we mistake our success to be a result of luck, an education, looks and being wiser than others yet its all through the Grace of God's Hand.  1 Thessalonians 5:17-18: "Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." Even though we cannot know what God's complete plan is for us we must be happy about it. This ties in with Hebrew 11:1 where it says: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Mbare Mothers is a group that gave new purpose to the young mothers in the church and their group has borne many sister groups in the Synod. Their music continues to soar in praise and worship to the Lord

A balanced diet is what you almost get at Harare Congregation in Mbare; choirs of all ages and sex. Here the young children sing of how Christ was crucified mercilessly and blood was lost for you and me in the song "Vakamurovera" (They Crucified Him). The Women's Guild Choir (Chigwirizano Choir) concludes the story by singing "Yesu Agonjetsa Imfa" (Jesus Defeated Death) let's sing Alleluia, thus Christ did not die in vain but for you and me to be reconciled with God. Isaiah 53:5 GOD'S WORD® Translation (©1995) He was wounded for our rebellious acts. He was crushed for our sins. He was punished so that we could have peace, and we received healing from his wounds. King James Bible But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. New International Version (©1984) But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
